This vegan protein powder is soya free! It is a blend of pea protein isolate, brown rice protein, pumpkin protein, flaxseed powder and quinoa flour.
Pea protein is made by grinding dried peas into a fine powder. The starch and fibre are removed, leaving a powdered concentrated protein substance (aka pea protein isolate). Pea protein isolate is completely plant-based, rich in iron and well absorbed by the body.
Using Vegan Protein Powder
You can add this powder to all sorts of dishes, from smoothies to pancakes to porridge and everything in between.
You can sprinkle on your breakfast cereal, pop a teaspoon into a warm drink, or add a teaspoon or two into a into a baked recipe.
To use as a protein shake (max of 1-3 servings per day), mix 35g with 250ml water, shake well and drink.
