The word 'gomito' means elbow in Italian and this does slightly resemble an elbow!

Macaroni is best known for the macaroni and cheese dish. However, it also holds just about any type of sauce well and can be used in baked recipes, soups and stir-fries.

 

Cooking with Gomitini / Macaroni

 

Bring a pan of water to the boil and cook for 8-10 minutes until al dente.
