Couverture is French for “covering”. It is a very high-quality chocolate that contains a higher percentage of cocoa butter than other chocolate. This additional cocoa butter gives the chocolate more sheen, a firmer "snap" when broken, and a creamy mellow flavour.
This is a rich 73% dark chocolate couverture made using premium Dominican Republic beans. It is organic, fairtrade certified and palm oil free.
