The coffee beans you brew are actually the processed and roasted seeds from a fruit, which is called a coffee cherry. Even though the coffee beans are seeds, they are referred to as "beans" because of their resemblance to true beans. Coffee trees can grow to more than 9 meters and live up to 100 years!!
These coffee beans are grown on an organic certified family farm in the mountains of Brazil. The family have been producing coffee for over 70 years! This coffee is hand harvested rather than using machines (mainly due to the tricky landscape), and is said to be one of the best coffees in Brazil both for taste and sustainability.
Now what does it taste like? The tasting notes include snickers, caramel and malt. Why not try some yourself?!

Due to the way our food is stored and packaged, this product may contain traces of other allergens due to cross-contamination.
Your beans’ greatest enemies are air, moisture, heat, and light.
Store in an air tight container in a dark, cool, dry place. A cabinet near the oven is often too warm, and so is a spot on the kitchen counter that gets strong afternoon sun.
To keep the great flavour, use within 1 month. The coffee will keep for up to 6 months but the flavour won't be as good. See best before date.
